Entrance Portico

The entrance portico just off the main cobblestone street features a reflecting pool with a beautiful stone basin and variety of lush plants and vegetation, as well as a weeping stonewall. An adobe staircase also leads up from here to the roof terrace and studio bedroom.
Main Indoor Living Area

Like the rest of Villa el Cerrito's interior, the main indoor living area was designed by Rachel Horn of Horn & Horn design (www.fincahome.com). The room combines both antique and specially made pieces to provide a comfortable yet authentic hacienda-style setting. The room also leads out to a large outdoor terrace from which one looks out over the property.

Main Outdoor Living Patio

The main outdoor living patio is just outside the main indoor living area and is the perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of Villa el Cerrito while at the same time being protected from the elements. The patio has a comfortable sitting area, as well as a bar with sink.

All the bedrooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. To allow for full enjoyment of the beauty just outside, all of the bedrooms lead out onto private terraces. Each bedroom has its own unique layout.

Kitchen

The kitchen is spectacular with traditional Mexican tiles lining the walls and boveda ceiling, and is fully equipped with the most modern of appliances - although the meticulous and attentive staff make it unnecessary for you even to enter the kitchen (let alone use it) unless you so desire.

Breakfast Room and Terrace

The lively breakfast room features an antique wooden table and walls decorated with hand-painted Mexican plates. The room leads to a breakfast terrace where you can enjoy eating outside while overlooking the exquisite landscape.


Dining Room

The dining room seats twelve comfortably, and features a large picture window overlooking the nature outside. A gorgeous antique statue of Saint Anthony is the artistic centerpiece of the dining room, standing watch over you and your dinner guests from its perch in front of the picture window.
